Prymera was started because commercial property managers kept getting painting quotes that said "prep and paint, two coats" with no specification behind those words. Then they got surprised when the paint peeled within a year, the color was slightly off, the trim was splashed, or the surface prep clearly had not happened. The quote was vague on purpose, because vague quotes let the painter cut corners on prep and blame conditions later.

Prymera writes down what we are going to do. Every quote includes a written surface-prep specification: cleaning method, sanding grit, patching compound, primer type and coverage, number of finish coats, inter-coat dry times. The spec is attached to the invoice. If the job does not match the spec, the warranty is void. Prep stages are photographed and delivered to property management so the work is verifiable.
